Church Path, Chiswick

The Church Path Studio site is a development of 11 one, two and three bedroom apartments for private sale in Chiswick West London. The site was formerly occupied by a three storey industrial building fronting onto Church Path and Beaumont Road. The scheme responds to these different contexts with a three storey block with large studio windows, echoing the former industrial unit, inserted into the varied character of Church Path and a more restrained four storey block on the Beaumont Road frontage continuing the subdivision and scale of the adjacent Victorian housing. The two blocks are planned around a central landscaped courtyard area giving a quite aspect to residents. The materials palette unites the two blocks with more formal elements clad in stock brick relieved with panels of painted render and timber boarding.
