This project was for the refurbishment and extension of the former Railway Clearing House in Eversholt Street to the north of Euston Station into modern office accommodation. A Grade 2 Listed Building dating from 1846, the first phase of Eversholt House was designed by the railway architect Philip Hardwick, the designer of the now demolished Euston Arch. Construction of the Clearing House started at the southern end of Eversholt Street and expanded northwards as more and more railway companies joined the Clearing House Company. The listed facade, one of the longest in London, was refurbished and the interiors re-modelled, retaining the unique character this former railway building. The updated offices were extended at roof level to provide a total of some 16,000 sq m floorspace and a new rear facade constructed along the length of the building including additions housing building service functions and vertical circulation.
